ABOUT ME
my journey through the world of taste and light

PASSION, LIGHT, AND FLAVOR IN EVERY FRAME
For years I’ve worked with restaurants, pastry shops, and food brands, creating considered, appetizing frames that show the character of the kitchen and the hand of the chef. I build every photo on light, texture, and detail, so the dish looks exactly as it should reach the guest.

Frequently asked questions
What does Sophie Foodstories do?
I’m Sophie — a food and restaurant photographer based in Wrocław, Poland. I shoot commercial photography of dishes, drinks, food products and venue interiors. I work solo, mostly on location at the client’s venue — with mobile lighting equipment that delivers a studio-quality result in real kitchen conditions. My clients are restaurants, hotels, food brands and advertising agencies.
Where do I work as a food photographer?
Wrocław and Lower Silesia are my base. I also shoot in Karpacz, Szklarska Poręba, Jelenia Góra, Kudowa-Zdrój and other towns across the region. Trips to Poznań, Opole and Zielona Góra are possible — arranged individually.
Who do I work with?
Restaurants, cafés, patisseries, hotels, food producers and food brands. I’ve shot 100+ projects for hospitality venues, including Michelin-guide restaurants.
How long does a food photoshoot take?
A standard restaurant shoot is 2–6 hours of camera work. Duration depends on the number of dishes, output formats (menu, social media, advertising) and styling depth. Final images delivered within 10 days of the shoot.
How much does a photoshoot cost?
Pricing is custom — depends on the number of dishes, output formats and styling scope. Once you describe the project through the contact form, I prepare a specific quote tailored to your brief.
How do I book a session?
Reach out via the contact form or WhatsApp (+48 452 828 718) with a brief project description — restaurant or brand, number of dishes, target date. I respond within 24 hours.
